Nestled in Topanga Canyon, The Well Lived Woman is a physical wellness center defined by its serene, organic aesthetic, curated by interior designer Sarah Sherman Samuel. The brand had an established local presence but no digital home. The strategic challenge was to architect their first website: a platform that could translate this tangible, grounded experience into a functional digital business.
My role was to lead the end-to-end web strategy, design, and development from the ground up. This involved architecting a platform to serve the two core functions of the business: a booking system for their intimate events—from retreats to specialty workshops—and an e-commerce store for their curated wellness products. I also established the foundational email marketing infrastructure to build and engage their community online.
This integration of events, commerce, and content gave the brand a complete digital funnel. The new platform translated the center's considered, in-person identity for an online audience and proved its value, collectively driving a 115% increase in average monthly sales in the first 60 days.
